The Research Fund for Coal and Steel (RFCS) is the EU funding programme supporting research and demonstration projects in the coal and steel sectors.

In 2024, the RFCS annual calls make available EUR 40 million to finance the transition to digital, green, and circular coal and steel sectors. Around 70% of the funding will be used to finance steel projects, while the other 30% will support coal projects.

The info day gives you the opportunity to get more information on the topics of the calls for proposals and to learn the best practices for a successful submission. It is also an occasion to discuss potential project ideas, synergies, and network.
